1.Accoring to the Better Business Bureau report there have been numerous complaints on their failure to provide refunds and billing problems.
2.The NY Post had a 2 day expose on their practices. The Post stories feature pitiable complaints from cancer victims, among others, who claim to have been conned by Bally sales staff and/or harassed by its collection agents. The newspaper also reported that the New York attorney general's office has launched a probe into the Chicago-based company. We will be providing a summary shortly
3a.I got my friend to sign up with the Brooklyn club under the program that I would recieve a year's free membership. Everytime I spoke to the guy he said no problem. He said I put it in 50 times, u r getting 50 years free. Yeah, it was no problem, I had to sue to recieve it.
3b.My friend three year later brought 3 friends under the same program at the Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn club. He has recieved nothing, 3 months later. The assistant manager avoid our questions, the manager just smiled and said he'll get it but one of the workers has told us we probably won't.
